Doctor Who Week – Bowties are cool….

…except when they aren’t becuase I seriously suck.

Day Three – 11th Doctors’ Bowtie

IMG_0899

I decided to keep most of the eye quite neutral, and have the bows are the centre of attention.  I tried practising the bow shape on my hand, but it’s kinda harder to do on your face! I also decided to base this on Elevens red tie (theres a tiny bit of blue in there, but not enough to matter).

Doctor Who Week – Madame Vastra

Day Three – Madame Vastra

Obviously I don’t have the skill to create the full faced look she has. I thought about doing scales, but I had already done that with my Dragons Lair halloween look a few weeks ago. So I decided to keep this simple, with lots of layering and blending to achieve an awesome green look. And because I took these at 8pm at night with crappy lighting the photos aren’t the greatest, but hopefully you can see what I was going for. Also, please excuse my awful chapped lips 😦 Not drinking enough water and my body is really suffering.

Anyway, on to the look!

I didn’t actually mean to make this a mostly SugarPill look, I just happened to have them handy.

I hope you guys are still enjoying the series. I know the last two looks haven’t been as exciting as the original Dalek look, but I can’t wear sequins everyday.

Doctor Who Week – Attack of the Cyber(wo)men

Day Two – Cybermen!

This look didn’t quite turn out the way that I wanted it to – I seem to struggle with my silvers 😦 But anyway, this is what I came up with for the Cybermen look.

Doctor Who Week – Queen of the Daleks

WELCOME TO DOCTOR WHO WEEK!

As you can tell I’m kind of excited! If you don’t know what about – SHAME ON YOU!!!!!! Ahem, this weekend is the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, and I am staying up until the wee hours of the morning to watch the world wide simulcast. To celebrate this, I will be posting looks every day that are in some way inspired by Doctor Who. I’ll just be posting the products I have used, instead of a full tutorial (unless you specifically ask for it).
